Rangpur Express (771/772) is a intercity train service in Bangladesh. It is the most luxurious train in Bangladesh. This train is very fast and high speed. Rangpur Express runs between Dhaka to Rangpur and Rangpur to Dhaka. It travels 6 days a week.
When it starts the journey from Dhaka it is called RANGPUR EXPRESS (771) and when it starts the journey from Rangpur it is called RANGPUR EXPRESS (772)’s off day is Sunday and RANGPUR EXPRESS (772). RANGPUR EXPRESS (771)’s off day Monday.
Rangpur Express train has total 14 coaches. 8 Non Ac seat coach, 2 Canteen and guard coach 2 Ac Cabin coach, 2 Ac seat coach and one powercar.
It has one power car which supplies the electricity of the whole train. Beside the power car there is a small cabin for Salah. There is also a washroom. Muslim people can pray Salah at this cabin.
It has total 653 seats. Both canteen cabin has 15 seats 15×2=30 seats, Each Non Ac coach has 60 seats 60×8=480 seats. Both Ac coach has 55 seats 55×2=110 seats. Ac cabin has 33 seats at day time and 18 seats at night time.
It has front side seat and back site seat. When it travel Dhaka to Rangpur 1-27 is back site seat and 28-55 is front site seat. Non Ac coach has 1-32 back site seat and 33-60 front site seat.
Non Ac coach has Shovan chair seat. The seats are comfortable. There will be a waterpot space, light, fan and mobile charging point. You can take your bag and luggages on the rak above your head.
