Tungipara Express Train Details
The train service between Rajshahi and Gopalganj started when the “Tungipara Express” train began. This train is the first of its kind between Rajshahi and Tungipara. Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina launched the Tungipara Express on November 2, 2018.
Majibur Rahman, the General Manager of Western Railway, mentioned that the Gopalganj-Rajshahi railway will connect both areas. The Tungipara Express consists of eight coaches and operates five days a week, excluding Mondays and Tuesdays. It covers a distance of 256 kilometers in just 6 hours.
Tungipara Express Train Schedule
The Tungipara Express leaves Rajshahi at 03:30 pm and reaches Gopalganj by 10:10 pm. On the way back, it leaves Gopalganj at 06:40 am and arrives in Rajshahi by 01:15 pm. The train doesn’t run on Mondays from Rajshahi to Gopalganj and on Tuesdays from Gopalganj to Rajshahi.
